Tsavo National Park East
7:00 am – You’re on safari so it’s an early rise as your Africa Kenya Safaris driver/guide comes by to pick you up in a private 4 x 4 Land Cruiser Jeep. Hop in and we’ll start our adventure headed for Mombasa by the Likoni Ferry.
Then we’re onto the Mombasa-Nairobi Highway, known as the “Explorers’ Route”, as the sun breaks over the passing fields.
In just a few hours we’ll arrive at Tsavo East, its broad expanse and big open sky welcoming us.
We’ll visit various watering holes like Mudanda Rock and the Aruba Dam, where the wildlife gather to quench their thirst.
There will be plenty of time for animal viewing as well as lunch amidst this expansive natural setting.
In the afternoon we’ll set out for more game spotting, and you’ll find yourself getting into the rhythms of the safari life.
