Leshan Giant Buddha (Da Fo)
Start your private day tour with 8:00 am pickup from your central located Chengdu hotel, where you'll board a private vehicle with your guide and travel to Leshan, about 160km away. The journey takes roughly 2.5 hours. Spend as much time as you like discovering the areas around the famous Leshan Giant Buddha, at 232 feet tall (71 meters), the world's largest carved Buddha statue. The figure is sculpted into a cliff of Lingyun Mountain, overlooking the confluence of three rivers. Hike around the statue with your guide, which takes about 35 minutes from the head to the torso, and another 35 minutes from the waist to the enormous feet. Opt for a cruise on the river
