Auf unserem Weg von Paphos besuchen wir die Ayia Paraskevi Kirche in Yeroskipou. Diese Kirche ist weltweit als ein äußerst bedeutendes Beispiel byzantinischer Architektur anerkannt. In Yeroskipou haben wir die Möglichkeit, die lokal hergestellten Köstlichkeiten zu probieren und zu kaufen. Wir werden dann die archäologischen Überreste von Kourion entdecken – das in der Antike eines der wichtigsten Stadtkönigreiche der Insel war – die zu den beeindruckendsten auf der Insel gehören, und Ausgrabungen haben viele bedeutende Funde zu Tage gefördert, die vor Ort besichtigt werden können. Die Tour geht weiter zum Dorf Omodos, wo wir in einer traditionellen zypriotischen Taverne zu Mittag essen. Es folgt eine Weinprobe in einem traditionellen Weingut. Auf dem Rückweg halten wir am Felsen der Aphrodite - Petra tou Romiou, dem legendären Geburtsort der antiken griechischen Göttin Aphrodite. Das Mittagessen ist im Preis inbegriffen.
