The 2-hour boat tour takes you to discover the island of Ortigia from a different point of life, that of the sea. From the boat you can admire the beautiful historic buildings and the fascinating Maniace Castle. With the boat you will enter some sea caves where the marine flora gives magical colors and will give you an exciting experience. We’ll walk through quiet alleys, the fishermen’s square, and corners most visitors never reach. At the market, you’ll taste capuliato, baked ricotta, pistachio salami, almond pastries, pistachio cream, and—depending on the season—Pachino tomatoes or prickly pears. Then we’ll meet my extended family of cheesemakers and enjoy ricotta, mozzarella, and the best panino of your life. We’ll finish with a fresh fruit granita from Ortigia’s most traditional gelateria.
