Travelers will spend 2 hours exploring Beco do Batman guided by a African American local host who offers cultural context from a Diasporan perspective. Along the way, we’ll visit galleries, meet local artists when possible, catch live music, and take plenty of photos and videos so you leave with real memories.
The experience is offered in English, with Spanish and Portuguese support if needed.
After the walk, we head to Altar Cozinha Ancestral for an authentic Afro-Brazilian meal, where the flavors and stories continue the cultural journey in a more intimate, grounded way. The outing will take about 3 hours including the lunch portion.
