Your tour starts in the town of Bastia, on Corsica Island. Firstly, we are taken by car to the old town. Tall and faded buildings surround a marina in what is Corsica’s principal port town. There we are provided with a guided walking tour. The highlights are the vibrant Old Port (a.k.a. Vieux Port) with its colorful buildings, a historic area called ‘Citadel’ (a.k.a. Terra Nova) offering ramparts and narrow alleys, the grand Palace of Governors (you are to visit inside), the expansive Place Saint-Nicolas square and beautiful green spaces like the Romieu Garden.
After your tour in Bastia, we are taken by car to the charming resort village of Calvi. Here we are provided with a guided walking tour. It boasts a magnificent medieval citadel, a long sandy beach and a lively marina. Enjoy wandering through flower-lined streets, discovering old buildings and a mix of traditional and modern shops. After your tour in Calvi, we are taken by car to your hotel, located in the village of Venaco.
