تبدأ الرحلة في الصباح الباكر من إل كالافاتي. نتخذ الطريق الأسطوري ٤٠، الذي يمتد على طول بحيرة أرجنتينو حتى نهر لا ليونا. سنمر بالوادي الذي يحمل نفس الاسم "كانيادون لا ليونا" وبعد ركوب ١.١٥ ساعة سنتوقف لفترة قصيرة عند فندق الطريق القديم "لا ليونا"، وهو عبارة عن متحف تقريبًا للطريق ٤٠. تستمر رحلتنا على طول بحيرة فيدما، حيث سنستمتع بمناظر ساحرة للأنهار الجليدية والبحيرات المخفية والوجود المهيب لجبل فيتز روي. بعد الوصول إلى شالتن، نواصل رحلتنا إلى بحيرة ديزيرتو على طول الطريق الذي يحد ريو دي لاس فويلتاس مما يأخذنا إلى عمق غابة لينجاس ونيريس. ينتهي الطريق بعد ساعة واحدة من الركوب و٣٧ كم إلى الشمال وصولاً إلى بحيرة ديزيرتو. من رصيف Punta Sur، سنستمتع برحلة بالقارب لمدة ٢٠ دقيقة إلى محمية Vespignani الطبيعية، حيث تأخذنا ٣ مسارات ذاتية التوجيه إلى أفضل المناظر لنهر Vespignani الجليدي والوجه الشمالي لجبل Fitz Roy.
