Experience the underwater world of Sal on this guided snorkeling tour in Santa Maria. Explore some of the area’s best spots, including reefs near Farol and the Bay of Santa Maria, with an experienced local guide.
Meet at the dive center to be fitted with snorkeling equipment and receive a safety briefing and basic instructions. Travel by boat to the snorkeling location and enter the water above the reef to spot tropical fish, rays, moray eels, and sometimes turtles.
The Bay of Santa Maria offers good visibility and rich marine life, including schools of soldier fish, snappers, parrot fish, and trumpet fish. A shallow wreck may sometimes be visible, but this cannot be guaranteed.
