محمية إيسلا ديل كانو البيولوجية
The Caño Island Biological Reserve is a natural gem located in the province of Puntarenas, about one hour from Uvita beach. With a 4.8-star rating based on more than 400 reviews, it is recognized as one of the most spectacular marine areas in Costa Rica.
What makes it so special?
• Coral reefs: It is home to some of the most extensive and best-preserved formations in the Costa Rican Pacific.
• Vibrant marine life: Ideal for snorkeling and diving, with excellent visibility and species such as white tip sharks, sea turtles, manta rays, dolphins, and even humpback whales on the whale season.
• Archaeological value: It was used as a cemetery by pre-Columbian cultures.
