Begin your evening with a scenic boat ride across Grand Cayman’s coastal waters toward Cayman Kai. The boat departs at 6:30 PM during the summer months and at 5:30 PM during the winter months. Complimentary hotel pickup is available for guests staying in the Seven Mile Beach area, or meet the crew directly at one of the designated docks. Arrive at Starfish Point, where shallow, clear waters and a peaceful shoreline offer the chance to see the area’s famous starfish in their natural environment. Wade through the warm Caribbean water, enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and take in the colors of the evening before boarding the boat again and continuing toward Cayman’s Bioluminescent Bay, where the next part of your adventure begins after dark.

As darkness settles over Cayman Kai, enter the Bioluminescent Bay and watch the water come alive with millions of tiny glowing organisms. With every movement and splash, the water illuminates around you, creating one of Grand Cayman’s most fascinating natural experiences. Learn about this unique ecosystem from your local crew and enjoy an optional swim in the glowing water before boarding the boat for the scenic return journey. The complete boat experience lasts approximately 2 hours, dock to dock.
