Your tour begins at the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Aia Piccola, located in the heart of the city of trulli, Alberobello. Trulli are traditional houses built entirely of stone, without mortar or cement. Every year, thousands of visitors come to admire this ancient town and its rural life.
Explore the historic center and walk along the narrow streets of the districts of Aia Piccola and Monti. Visit the ancient Church of St. Anthony, the only trullo-shaped church in the world, built in limestone with a Greek cross plan and topped by a conical roof. Its architecture recalls traditional trulli on a monumental scale making it one of the most iconic buildings in Alberobello.
