All of our private tours are led by a professional wildlife biologist. We will tour the park in a modern chevy suburban. Our goal is to view the most wildlife possible on your tour while also visiting the most ICONIC destinations in there park as well visiting many hidden locations that are off the beaten path. During our day we will see Old Faithful, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Yellowstone Falls (308'), lots of wildlife, large waterfalls, seldom seen geysers, and two historic hotels. We will provide high end binoculars and spotting scopes for the entire group so we can view animals or geysers that are far off the road! This will be an educational experience for your family/ group yet fun and entraining at the same time. Your tour will experience the wonders of hidden Yellowstone that's awaiting around each corner of Yellowstone National Park. For lunch we will stop for an incredibly scenic picnic style lunch along the shore of Yellowstone Lake!

This Active Van Tour is a great way to see Yellowstone National Park beginning in the fun gateway town of West Yellowstone. The early morning part of the tour explores wildlife haunts in the famous Shadow Canyon of the Madison River. This area is home to bear and elk. Later we hike to an overlook of the famous Grand Prismatic Hot Springs. If you don't feel like walking we find a safe, scenic spot for you to wait for the group. Next we explore the Old Faithful area, including some time at the famous Old Faithful Inn. We continue over the continental divide and down to the West Thumb Geyser Basin on Yellowstone Lake for a view of some spectacular lakeside thermal pools. Continuing our drive along Yellowstone Lake we arrive at the Mud Volcano near the Hayden Valley. See bison roam along the Yellowstone River. Finally, we arrive at the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone to view the canyon and the amazing Lower Falls at Artist Point. The day concludes back at West Yellowstone.

The Grand Canyon Rim Hike is one of the best hikes in Yellowstone National Park. This hiking tour is a loop. Your tour guide will watch for bears and answer your questions along the way. Not only do we hike along the Rim of the Canyon, but also through the forest to lakes, mud pots, and meadows. Your guide knows the trail and trail junctions, where many hikers get confused. Your guide also knows the good spots to stop for photos, resting, and lunch with a view.

This guided kayaking tour in Yellowstone National Park, includes an introduction to Yellowstone's history and geology of the Lake, along with the kayaking equipment and techniques, then your guides lead you around the shoreline to the West Thumb Geyser Basin where there are many geothermal features on land and under water we will explore from our kayaks, many of which are not accessible by any other means. We explore from our kayaks this primitive geyser basin where there are no signs, no boardwalks and most importantly no other people. We stop at a secluded beach for a picnic lunch which we provide, then return the same way we came arriving back to our vehicles around 2 in the afternoon, depending on the group. All necessary kayaking equipment and instruction on paddling techniques are included. No prior kayaking experience is required. All skill levels are welcome. Single and double kayaks are available. Our meeting time of 8:30 is the optimal time as we are one of the first to get on and usually get back before the strong afternoon winds pick up. Yellowstone Hiking Guides safely leads hiking groups into the Lamar Valley on a wildlife viewing day hike tour. Our guides are well versed in Yellowstone's unique wildlife. Safety and fun are our top priorities. Regularly, we spot wolves, bears, and other rare wildlife from the trail in the backcountry of Yellowstone. Our tours are off the beaten path, traveling on bison trails for the majority of the hike. Most tour providers in Yellowstone spend the majority of the day on the road, or very close to the road. Our guides take you into the backcountry for unique views of the Lamar Valley that you cannot see from the roadway. Frequently, our guests tell us that they could not do this hike on their own through the massive bison herd and unpredictable wildlife.

A kayak paddle on Yellowstone Lake is a great way to start the day before moving on to afternoon activities. We begin the tour at 10AM to beat the wind and waves that can form later in the day. Launching in the evening can be quite dangerous. Safety is our priority. Your kayak instructor will provide a safety briefing and introduce you to the kayaks and paddle strokes. The tours have a ratio of 6-guests-to-1-guide. The minimum age to join is 14. Once underway, we journey from the Grant Village Marina to the West Thumb Geyser Basin. The sight of the steaming geyser basin forms a lifelong memory. Enjoy the big mountain views of the Absaroka Range across the lake. Getting out on the water is a unique way to experience the Park. Our tours are fun! But, we also have a passion for the Park and enjoy sharing information about the flora, fauna, and history of the region. Tours include morning hot drinks and light snacks, as well as lunch on an off the beaten path beach.

This Wildlife Viewing Van Tour is a great way to see the unique animals of Yellowstone National Park. We begin in the fun gateway town of West Yellowstone. The early morning part of the tour explores wildlife haunts in the famous Shadow Canyon of the Madison River. This area is home to bear and elk. Later we scope for wildlife on the shoulders of one of Yellowstone's tallest peaks, Mount Washburn. Next we explore the Lamar Valley, known as the Serengeti of North America. We will use spotting scopes to look for wolves, bears and other wildlife. Enjoy a hot drink and morning snack while watching wolves. Next we visit the Mammoth Hot Springs Terraces for a short walk. If you don't feel like walking we find a safe, scenic spot for you to wait for the group near the van. Finally, we head back toward West Yellowstone stopping for additional wildlife sightings along the way. The day concludes back at West Yellowstone.
