Our 90 minute tour is all new for this year and allows guests to step back in history and experience how the Erie Canal transformed Buffalo, New York State and the entire country. We begin by viewing the terminus of the Erie Canal with a brief walking tour. Guests will come to understand the plight of the immigrants who traveled thousands of miles to start a new life in America. Once aboard the bus we'll view and visit the beautiful waterfront of Buffalo including Lake Erie and the vistas of the Canadian shoreline. As we travel we'll learn about the rough 'Canal District' that featured over 120 saloons and other 'amusements'.
