The Monumental Ensemble of the Fortress of La Mota, houses the old walled city of Alcalá la Real.This, and the different elements of military architecture of its environment, serve as reference point to know and explain the temporal and spatial process linked to the evolution of the border during the Late Middle Ages, while serving as an example of urban development in the interior of a city intramuros in the period that covers from S.
