This day trip is aimed at those with little time to spare but want to learn a bit about the West Coast. Nature is at the heart of all of our trips. We begin the day with a stop at the beautiful Blaawberg Beach front for a Instagram worthy photo of Table Mountain. We always aim to share our history and culture with guests. This tour does exactly that, it explores San culture and allows you to go back into time to gain a greater understanding of our first people. A stop at the West Coast National Park is a must when visiting the area. During Spring the area is coloured by the beautiful wild flowers that are unique to this region (Aug to Sep). Highlights include the Langebaan lagoon and a possible swim if conditions are good. So pack that costume and join us for a day on the West Coast!

The attraction in the West Coast National Park is a turquoise lagoon with warm water and a white beach. Roosterkoeke (filled rolls baked on the grill) are a South African specialty along the way. In the "!Khwa Ttu" cultural center, we learn how the indigenous people of South Africa, the Bushmen, lived back then. The tour shows a different side of Cape Town, far away from the mass attractions. Join us on a trip to the West Coast. Go on Safari at West Coast Private Game Reserve and learn more about the history and natural knowledge of the San People at the Khwa Ttu. You will be picked up from your hotel/home, and transferred to Yzerfontein, where you will join a ~3 hour game drive (this component is sometimes shared with other travellers). You will be guided around in a 9 seater safari Land Rover and have a chance to see Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Eland, Kudu, Waterbuck, Hartebeest, Springbok, Impala, Ostrich and many smaller creatures. From there you will be transferred to the Khwa Ttu Heritage Centre, where you will sit down for a delicious 3 course meal, followed by a choice of 2 of their guided tours: 1.
