Mulled wine walk around Karlsruhe Castle
Would you like to spend time with your loved ones on an atmospheric pleasure tour? Then come along on my winemaker’s mulled wine tour. Wrapped up warm and equipped with glowing torches, we take a walk around Karlsruhe Castle. We taste delicious white and red mulled wine as well as homemade snacks and enjoy the Christmas atmosphere. On our tour you will experience incredible things. But which of these is really true and when do I tell fairy tales? This is something to be puzzled about when the question at each station is: “Fact or fake?” An interactive tipsy and extremely fun tour! The start and end point is at the market square at Kaiserstrasse 72-74 (directly in front of the tourist information office).

Karlsruhe Private Guided Walking Tour
The city has always been a bit more liberal than most in Germany, allowing art and culture to flourish and creating an atmosphere of vitality. Branching out of Karlsruhe's grand palace, this city has no old quarter, and that leaves guests usually puzzled. Karlsruhe is a young city, having been founded in 1715, and therefore lacking in a medieval urban structure so seen in most German cities. This city is the product of the mind of Baden's Margrave Karl-Wilhelm, with the palace at its centre and 32 streets radiating outwards. This made it an open city, without walls and therefore tolerant and liberal from the get-go. Even the location of the city centre in a former munitions factory can be seen as a symbol of the ever-changing rhythm of time.
