The Benagil Express Gold Tour last's 2hours, and departs from Portimão, heading eastwards. You pass the castle of S. João do Arade at Ferragudo and head out to sea, following the coastline of cliffs and coves, passing the amazing rock formations at Boneca and Algar Seco, past the beaches of Carvoeiro, Centeanes and Carvalho, before coming to Benagil where you can see one of the most famous sea caves. All along the route, the Benagil Express takes you into 10 or 12 different caves (depending on the sea and weather conditions), all stunning in their natural beauty. Past Benagil, time to see the gorgeous sea arches at Praia da Marinha, considered one of the most picturesque beaches in Europe and to enjoy a refreshing dip in the sea, if you wish.(Swimming subjecto to sea conditions)

In a convoy of jeeps, we travel up hills and down dales, crossing streams and traversing meadows. Enjoy the spectacular scenery and pure air as we travel along earthen tracks. Learn about the different flora and fauna and see some of the old customs still in practice - the traditional way of making of honey and distilling of medronho - a very potent local drink which you will have the chance to sample. Lunch is provided in a typical restaurant. Please note: depending on tidal conditions, the programme may be inverted.

Starting from marina you will visit to Ferragudo beach. Then you go to the sea through praia da Rocha to praia do Alemão, until Ponta de Arens. There the boat can be moored to enjoy the views, to swim and to get a glass of white portuguese wine. Going to Alvor is also a possibility.
