We will be far from all the typical tourist attractions and will be venturing into the 3rd district of the city, also known as Old Buda, famous for its Roman heritage sites belonging to the former provincial capital Aquincum. The locations included, but dependant on opening times, interest and our movement speed are: The military amphitheatre The ruins of the legionary camp The remains of the military bath (currently only from the outside) The Hercules villa* The Aquincum Museum The civilian amphitheatre* *These are a little off the std. itinerary.
