Zermatt
During your time in Zermatt Village, your guide will escort you from the train station and throughout the village, unveiling the history of the buildings and the village’s past. The chapel’s steeple adds to the small and charming village feel, and you’ll be completely and utterly charmed throughout your exploration. Running through Zermatt is the pure and ice-cold river Matta Vispa, which provides an atmospheric trickling water sound.
During your tour, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a local raclette or fondue lunch, immersing yourself in Swiss culture by indulging in a heartwarming local delicacy. Seize plenty of opportunities to take photographs, like in front of the monument to the mountain guides. The air will be crisp and thin, and the atmosphere is perfect to go wandering off, taking in the beauty of the place, and getting lost in wistful thought.
