While most visitors stay around the village or visit the main waterfall near town, this experience takes us deep into the jungle toward Cathedral Waterfall, a beautiful hidden waterfall surrounded by tropical vegetation, natural trails, and the constant sounds of the river. Our adventure begins in downtown Puerto Vallarta, where we’ll take public transportation to Boca de Tomatlán. From there, we’ll board a public water taxi, since Yelapa can only be reached by boat.
