Yala National Park is located in the south eastern region of Sri Lanka, forming of scrub, light forest, grassy plains and brackish lagoons, it's very rich in wildlife and you're virtually certain to encounter elephants, crocodiles, buffaloes and monkeys.

Yala National Park is rich in birdlife and around 130 species have been recorded. Raptors include crested serpent eagle and white bellied sea eagle. Among the water birds attracted to the lagoons are Lesser Flamingo, Pelicon, Spoonbill, painted stork, rare black necked Stork, grey heron, purple heron, night heron and Darter.
we will pick you up in the morning around 08.30 hrs from your staying location in Negombo/Colombo/ Mount Lavinia/Wadduwa/ Kalutara/Beruwala, Bentota OR Ahungalla and travel by Airconditioned vehicle through Southern Expressway and stop for lunch (own arrangement) at Tissamaharama and reach the Yala National Park and starts the afternoon session (14.00 hrs) of the safari, board into the Safari Jeep and 3-4 hour of wildlife spotting in Yala National Park. Drop off at the starting point.
