San Ignacio
This is our departure point. Travelers are picked up from their hotel in San Ignacio and meet their licensed guide, who gives an overview of the day’s adventure.

Xunantunich
Explore one of Belize’s most impressive archaeological sites. Guides share the history of Maya rulers, rituals, and daily life as travelers walk through plazas and temples. Climb the 130-foot pyramid for sweeping jungle views that extend into Guatemala on clear days. It’s the second-tallest structure in Belize and a highlight of the site. See intricate carvings, ceremonial areas, and the ball court while learning about Maya astronomy, trade, and cultural traditions.

Nohoch Che'en Caves Branch Archaeological Reserve
After our stop for a freshly prepared Belizean lunch, with vegetarian and vegan options available on request. Arrive at the cave tubing site after a scenic 1.5-hour drive. Your guide provides helmets, life vests, and tubes, followed by a safety briefing.
Take a guided 25–30 minute hike through lush rainforest with a few river crossings, learning about the plants and wildlife along the way. Begin the tubing adventure by swimming into the entrance, then floating through limestone passages with glittering stalactites and stalagmites. Hear ancient stories and beliefs about Xibalba, the Maya underworld, as you drift through cathedral-like chambers and sacred altars hidden inside the caves.

San Ignacio
After the cave tubing adventure, use the changing rooms and restrooms at the parking lot before you relax on the return drive to San Ignacio, where travelers are dropped off at their hotel to conclude the tour.
