This day hiking adventure is for women ages 18 years and older and takes us to Ouzel Falls which is a stunning 40-foot waterfall in the backcountry of Rocky Mountain National Park. We'll start in the remote Wild Basin and travel through dense pine forest while following a mountain stream and passing multiple waterfalls up to our main destination Ouzel Falls. If you love glacier-fed mountain streams, waterfalls, wild flowers, and wild life, you'll love this hike.

Estes Park Visitor Center
Meet in the parking lot by veterand memorial next to the river. I'll be in my grey Mazda CX5 SUV. You'll then follow me in your vehicle to the trailhead which is about a 30 minute drive one way; this is where the tour begins and ends.
Each participant will be required to sign a risks form.

Hike: Moderate 5.5-mile hike with 1,000 feet of elevation gain through stunning Rocky Mountain National Park.
Features: The destination is an incredible 40-foot waterfall named Ouzel (OOH-zel) Falls. Along the way, we'll walk through an enchanting pine and aspen forest while following a rushing mountain stream with multiple waterfalls and cascades. If you love water then you'll love this hike! Once we get to Ouzel Falls we'll enjoy hot drinks and chocolates, views, sound, and mist of this glorious waterfall. We'll return the same way we came.
