Built in 1771, the Gunsmith’s Workshop is one of the oldest surviving trade buildings in the historic Salem district. Visitors and staff have reported hearing unexplained footsteps, voices, and sounds of tools seemingly in use long after the workshop has closed.

Completed in 1769, the Single Brothers’ House served as a residence and workplace for unmarried Moravian craftsmen. Staff and visitors have reported hearing footsteps, doors opening on their own, and unexplained voices, adding to the building’s long-standing paranormal reputation.

Established during the 18th century, the Boys’ School educated young members of the Moravian settlement in Salem. Paranormal reports include disembodied voices, phantom footsteps, and sightings of figures believed to be connected to the school's early students and teachers.

Founded in 1772, Salem College is the oldest educational institution for women in the United States to operate continuously on its original campus.
