Heroes' Acre is Namibia’s official war memorial and national shrine, built to honor the men and women who fought for the nation's liberation and independence. Sprawled across the uninhabited slopes of the Auas Mountains, this grand monument is a major landmark located 10 kilometers south of Windhoek’s city center along the B1 national road.

Penduka Village
Penduka Village is a non-profit social enterprise, cultural center, and eco-lodge that empowers marginalized, vulnerable, and disabled Namibian women. Meaning "Wake Up!" in both Otjiherero and Oshiwambo, the village functions as a creative sanctuary where women gain financial independence through artisan craftsmanship. It is situated on the scenic edge of the Goreangab Dam, roughly 15 minutes northwest of downtown Windhoek in the Katutura township area.
