تعد كاتدرائية سان خوان القديمة المبجلة أكبر مبنى ديني في بورتوريكو، وواحدة من أهمها. في الواقع، تعد سان خوان باوتيستا مقر أبرشية بورتوريكو. وهي أيضًا ثاني أقدم كنيسة في نصف الكرة الغربي، وأقدم كنيسة على الأراضي الأمريكية. يعود تاريخ الكنيسة إلى عام ١٥٢١ وبداية الاستعمار الإسباني للجزيرة.
