Located on the site of Liverpool's first dry dock here you will learn of the maritime history of Liverpool that is captured in the large water fountain, and you will be able to have a quick look down to through a port hole. Thomas Steers Way is also home to the oversized LIVERPOOL selfie sign for which the colours change to reflect the season or events throughout the year.

As your afternoon tea draws to a close, you may choose to return with your guide for the short walk back to the cruise terminal, or conclude your excursion here and enjoy some free time to explore the city independently—your guide will be happy to point you in the right direction—before making your own way back to the ship.

Albion House
Step inside one of Liverpool’s most striking historic landmarks. Albion House, also known as the White Star Building or 30 James Street, stands proudly at the corner of James Street and The Strand, facing the world-famous Pier Head. Built between 1896 and 1898, its bold red-brick and white Portland stone façade earned it the affectionate local nickname the “streaky bacon” building. Once the world headquarters of the White Star Line—the company behind RMS Titanic—Albion House is rich with stories of Liverpool’s maritime past. Today, it provides the perfect setting for a delicious English afternoon tea on the top floor, where you can enjoy fabulous waterfront views, chat with your guide, ask questions, and relax over a traditional cream tea.
