Centro storico di Altamura
The guided tour we organized in Altamura is shared with other travelers who love culture. You will meet the tour guide at the Porta Baresana, the ancient entrance to the town and you will start the tour in the historic center in towards the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta. The majestic cathedral is the only sacred place wanted by the Emperior of the Holy Roman Empire Federico II.
Walking through the alleys of the historic center you will admire ancient palaces and artistic treasures dating back to medieval times.
