In 2021 it had its 100th anniversary and at its table sat such distinguished figures as The Rolling Stones and the writers Paul Bowles, Juan Goytisolo and William S. Burroughs. There was a time in which Café Hafa acted as a powerful magnet for bohemian and creative characters from all over the world.
Now, little remains in Café Hafa of its counterculture identity but it is still a point of reference for any curious traveller who visits Tangier.

Moshe Nahon Synagogue
they will walk towards Moshe Nahon's synagogue Located on a dead end street off the rue des Synagogues in the Beni Idir quarter of the Tangier medina, this synagogue was constructed in the 19th century by Moïse Nahon, a prominent educator and scholar from an influential Jewish family in Tangier. The synagogue ceased activity in the second half to the 20th century.

The Place du 9 April 1947 or, quite simply, April 9, is the most emblematic space in the historic center of Tangier. This unmissable place serves as a large courtyard from which you can reach the various places of interest in the surrounding area.
