Itinerary
1
Vrijdagmarkt
We start at the statue of Jacob Van Artevelde and will spend some time at the square as there is a lot of history as well as beautiful architecture.
2
Gravensteen
See a medieval castle from the outside. Guided tours can be booked at the castle itself.
3
Graslei and Korenlei
Graslei and Korenlei keys are the beating heart of Ghent. Today a place with many cafes and restaurants, in the past the main trading place.
4
Het Belfort van Gent
Get to know the 3 medieval towers of Ghent. The Belfry is the one in the middle. This can be visited before or after the tour and highly recommended, esp. if you like to see the city from the top of its tower.
