Les collines de Bombay sont une chaîne de collines au sud d'Auckland, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Bien que petites et apparemment insignifiantes, elles se situent à la limite sud de la région d'Auckland et servent de ligne de démarcation entre Auckland et la région de Waikato. Elles doivent leur nom au navire Bombay, qui doit son nom à la ville indienne de Bombay (aujourd'hui Mumbai). Bombay signifie : une race de chat noir à poil court de taille moyenne.

Nous traverserons également la ville unique de Tirau (capitale mondiale de la sculpture en tôle ondulée) connue pour ses boutiques d'antiquités et ses bâtiments en tôle ondulée en forme d'animaux.

You can also listen to the historic stories of the lake, the Pink and White Terraces and the Mount Tarawera eruption from the onboard commentary.

After an exhilarating fun-filled nature experience at Rotorua, it is now time to head back to Auckland to conclude your evening and drop-off at your hotel in Auckland. We can also drop you at your accommodation in Rotorua if you are staying locally in the region.
