The Jesus Christ Statue in Vung Tau, Vietnam, is one of the largest Christ statues in Asia and a prominent landmark of the region. Located atop Mount Nho, the statue was constructed in 1974 and completed in 1993. It stands 32 meters (105 feet) tall, including its 4-meter pedestal, with arms outstretched to a wingspan of 18.4 meters (60 feet).
Visitors can ascend the statue by climbing a spiral staircase of 133 steps inside the structure, leading to a panoramic viewing platform on the shoulders of Christ. From here, visitors are treated to stunning views of the surrounding cityscape, coastline, and ocean.
The area surrounding the statue features beautifully maintained gardens and scenic trails, making it a serene destination for pilgrims and tourists alike. It is not only a place of worship but also a popular spot for photography and nature walks. Visitors should note that proper attire is required to enter the statue as a sign of respect.

Tao Phung Mountain, also known as Small Mountain, is one of two iconic peaks in Vung Tau, Vietnam, the other being Big Mountain (Nui Lon).
