Zócalo de Puebla
From downtown Puebla, walk along Reforma or 16 de Septiembre toward the Zócalo; once there, head to the center of the plaza where the fountain is, surrounded by gardens and benches. That will be our meeting point.
"The Popocatépetl volcano is the second highest mountain in Mexico and is located within the Izta-Popo National Park. During our hike, we will have this great colossus as a companion in the landscape. Popocatépetl is an active volcano, so if we're lucky, we might witness some fumaroles or large columns of smoke rising from its crater — always from a safe distance permitted by the authorities."
