If you head there from Hakata Station, you can take the Airport Line bound for Chikuzen-Maebaru or Meinohama. Then get off at Tenjin Station, walk a bit to West Gate 1, follow the signs upstairs, and the destination will be right in front of the West Gate 1 entrance.

Yatai
Yatai is the most famous place in Fukuoka is Nakasu but I’d say this is too overpriced which is more tourist.
There’s a lot of these at Tenjin area there are even performance one of Yatai to enjoy eating.
