Most wine tours only let you look; we let you participate. This is the only experience in Rioja Alta where you become a farmer for a day, working the land alongside a local grower. You won’t just visit a winery; you’ll discover 500 years of history in 16th-century underground caves and enjoy a rustic 'almuerzo' exactly how ancestors did—right in the heart of the vineyard. It’s an authentic, hands-on journey from the soil to the glass that you won't find anywhere else.

Join a local grower for seasonal tasks like pruning or harvesting
A rustic vineyard snack featuring Spanish potato omelette (tortilla), local Riojan chorizo, ham, and fresh bread.

Transportation to and from the winery is not provided.

Please arrive at Bodegas Lecea 15 min early. Check-in at the wine shop. Your guide will lead you to the vineyard for the seasonal activity and traditional 'almuerzo' snack. Wear comfortable clothes and sturdy shoes as we will be walking in the vineyard.

Step into the boots of a local grower and experience Rioja like an insider. You’ll head to our family vineyards to participate in seasonal tasks—whether it's pruning in winter or harvesting in autumn. After the work, enjoy a well-earned 'almuerzo' (traditional snack) of Spanish tortilla and local chorizo among the vines. Finally, we’ll descend into our 16th-century underground cellars to discover 500 years of winemaking history while tasting our premium estate wines.
