VIKOS CANYON – The deepest canyon in the world, relative to its width, according to the Guinness Book of Records 1997. We begin by descending to the riverbed of Vikos from the village of Monodendri. We hike along a varied environment, relatively rough in a very few places, fairly easy in most of its route.
