Mosi-oa-Tunya / Parc national des chutes Victoria
Inside Victoria Falls National Park, visitors explore 16 prominent vantage points that reveal the grandeur of Victoria Falls. The guided walk begins with Devil’s Cataract, located near Cataract Island, where guests witness the Zambezi River plunging into the gorge. From here, the trail continues to the Cataract Viewpoint, where about 38 steps lead down to a closer perspective of the cascading water and rising mist.
Continuing along the rainforest path, visitors enjoy sweeping views of the impressive Main Falls, the largest curtain of water at the falls. Guests also see Livingstone Island, where explorer David Livingstone first observed the waterfall in 1855. The walk then reveals Horseshoe Falls, Rainbow Falls, the highest point of the falls, and the Eastern Cataract, before ending near Armchair Falls, where the Zambezi River completes its plunge into the gorge.
