The Vatican houses paintings by artists such as Da Vinci and Titian in the Pinacoteca Gallery and Picasso and Chagall in the Collection of Modern Religious Art. You will see antique statues, Roman sarcophagi, mosaics, tapestries, and many a fresco, including Raphael’s famous School of Athens. You will discover the Sistine Chapel and Michelangelo’s famous frescoes, The Creation of Adam and the Last Judgment. In St Peter’s Basilica, you will find another of Michelangelo’s works, La Pietà.

Your guide will take you around the Vatican Museums showing you its greatest treasures, including works by Raphael, Titian and Caravaggio, as well as tapestries, frescoes, statues and the unparalleled Sistine Chapel.
