This workshop takes place in a serene indoor garden inspired by a traditional Valencian huerto, offering a peaceful and authentic setting. Led by a local Valencian artist, the experience combines cultural history with hands-on creativity, allowing participants to connect with the stories, symbols, and traditions behind Spanish and Valencian ceramic tiles. Rather than just observing, guests actively create and take home a meaningful, hand-painted tile — a personal piece of Valencia’s artistic heritage.

Step into Valencia’s artistic heritage with this hands-on ceramic tile painting workshop in the Benimaclet neighborhood. In a peaceful indoor garden inspired by a traditional Valencian huerto, participants will learn about the history of Spanish and Valencian azulejos, from medieval and Renaissance designs to modern styles.
Guided by a local Valencian artist, the activity blends art, history, and hands-on creativity as you explore traditional colors, symbols, and patterns. Participants will then design and hand-paint their own ceramic tile, choosing a historical style or creating a personal design.
