We will then explore the structures of Muyil, a Maya archaeological site amid the mangroves of Sian Ka'an, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. This excursion from Tulum takes you to the former trading post along an interpretive nature trail before a boat ride to Muyil Lagoon. We will start by enjoying a tour of the Muyil Archeological Ruins. TAE Guide is NOT a Archeological Guide so if you want to hire one they are an additional charge, otherwise this is a self guide tour of the ruins. We will enjoy a local mayan lunch after we tour the ruins.

Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve
After lunch we will take a boat and do an ecological tour of the lagoons and visit an old mayan trading post followed by a 40 + min floating tour through the man made ancient mayan canals that connected the lagoon and provided passage for the mayan boats to head out to sea..
