We begin our adventure in the courtyard of the Historium, where we will learn about the origins of Bruges and its commercial port. We did not enter the museum, only the courtyard.

How were ships loaded and unloaded? What personalities from Bruges lived through these streets in the Middle Ages?

The Ter Beurze family gave its name to one of the best-known markets worldwide: the stock market. When did this happen? We will see the facade.

In the surroundings of the Jan Van Eyck square there are many important buildings for the medieval Witch: Lodges of merchants from different countries, a jousting brotherhood of knights, the porters' house, an old customs house... And, of course , the statue of Jan Van Eyck and the magnificent canal of Little Venice.

We will discover two gastronomic curiosities of Bruges. One of them, enormously well-known. The other much less.

The purest example of the baroque in witches keeps some of the secrets of this city, related to Felipe the Good and a couple of orders that he created.

We will walk along the Spínola dock, a character closely linked to what we have seen so far, and we will enjoy the views from some of the oldest bridges in the city.

We will pass by the oldest bar in Bruges as we enter the neighborhood of Santa Ana.

In the heart of the Santa Ana neighborhood we find this wonderful 17th century church. With luck, we will still see some bowling alley around.

We arrive at the high point of the tour: The Jerusalem chapel and the Adornes domain. We will discover who this family was, among the most influential of the Late Middle Ages, and we will see the replica of the Holy Sepulcher that was built in their domain, along with a series of AlmHouses. We will also stop to rest for a few minutes in the Scottish room within the domain itself. The entrance to the domain, the chapel of Jerusalem, the almhouses (today the Museum of the Ornaments) and the hall of the Scots is included in the price of the tour.

We will pass by the Bobbin Lace Museum and the Folklore Museum as we surround the Adornes domain and see original walls from the 15th century.

Who was Guido Gezelle and why is his house-museum within the Adornes domain? We will tell its story from the facade.

We will go around the walls and see the towers, from outside, of the San Sebastian crossbowmen's guild, of which the Queen of England was a member until her death.

We will finish, after two and a half hours of tour, next to the mills and the canal, with some of the most beautiful views of the City, and where peace and tranquility are breathed at all times. We will not enter the mills, but we assure you that it is worth seeing inside.
