St. Michael at the North Gate
Discover the oldest building in Oxford, originally built around 1000–1050, with the tower from 1040 still in existence. The church tower is Anglo Saxon.
Discover the incredible story of the Oxford Martyrs who were imprisoned in the Bocardo Prison by the church before they were burnt at the stake in what is now Broad Street nearby. Admission is not included.

This 15th century medieval building and room in the Perpendicular style, was specifically built for lectures, oral exams, and discussions on theology. It was also used as a backdrop for the Harry Potter’s Hogwarts’s infirmary and classroom scenes. Admission is included.

Bridge of Sighs
Completed in 1914, this beautiful bridge acts as a link between two Hertford College buildings, one being one of the oldest Universities in the world. The bridge more closely resembles the Rialto Bridge but won the hearts of the public, hence its name. The bridge also carries a storied history of mythology and fact, further enhancing its appeal, which your expert local guide will tell you all about.
