Mamula Fortress
Mamula island is located at the entrance of the Bay of Kotor. The island has been formerly known as Lastavica. It is circular in shape,200 meters in diameter. About 80percent of the island is occupied by a fortress built in the mid-19th century by austro-hungarian general Lazar Mamula after which the island was eventually named.
