Start the day at Mutianyu, one of the most beautiful and popular sections of the Great Wall. Surrounded by mountains and greenery, this section is famous for its impressive watchtowers and scenic views. It’s a wonderful place to get your first big impression of the Wall.

Water Great Wall at Huanghuacheng
Continue to Huanghuacheng, a section with a very different atmosphere. Here, the Wall meets the water, creating one of the most distinctive and photogenic landscapes around Beijing. View sections of the Wall extending into the lake from the reservoir bridge. It is less crowded and offers a more unusual side of the Great Wall experience.
