The Straits Encave is situated on the Second level of the Joo Chiat heritage shophouse. Guest must be able to climb up/down a flight of steps to the second level from the main street.

The Peranakan Mansion is located at the heart of Joo Chiat. It is located at the junction of Joo Chiat and Koon Seng Road. We are opposite the Cold Storage, and next to the Koon Seng Road colourful houses.
At the Peranakan Mansion, guests are greeted by an enchanting and nostalgic ambiance within a meticulously preserved 1928 shophouse. Upon arrival, they will partake in an insightful Peranakan cultural talk followed by a guided tour of the mansion. Throughout the visit, guests will be captivated by the rich history, vibrant culture, and fascinating stories behind our exquisite artifacts and displays, inspiring a deeper appreciation for Singapore's heritage and Peranakan traditions.
