Hill of Crosses
From Riga there are two hours drive to Hill of Crosses what is a special place with hundred thousands of crosses and rosaries made from the wood, iron, clay or plastic —placed here for nearly two centuries—have found a home on the growing mound of religious fervor. For piligrims this is saint place what after an apparition of the Virgin Mary became the holy. For tourists interesting, mystic because because not seen anywhere else.

On the way back will see historical buildings Academia Petrina and Jelgava Palace. The project of the palace was made by famous architect Francesko Bartolomeo Rastrelli (18th century). Jelgava Palace was an official residence of France's King Louis XVIII as well.
