Are you ready to turn your hobbies into a business?
Welcome to Glasgow's Walking & Subway tour, aka the Clockwork Orange Ramble, where we wander through Glasgow's best bits and use Glasgow's victorian subway to speed up the bits in between.
This tour strikes the perfect combination of walking; getting up close and also being able to see much more of the city than just a walking tour.
This tour is perfect for anyone. Whether you are small bunch of friends; a family; a corporate group or hen or stag this is a great option.
It works great on a rainy day and excels on a sunny day.
For people staying in the west end, we may be able to start the tour there and finish in the city. Either way, the Clockwork Orange "shoogle" makes the journey easy...

Itinerary
1
Glasgow Cathedral
Now come on, who doesn't like a 1000 year old building?
20 minutes
2
Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum
This is grand with a capital "G". And a snip at £257,000 to build. Roughly the price of a 2 bedroom flat in the west end now. That was 1901 to be fair!
15 minutes
3
Glasgow West End
None other than the sheeshy west end (chichy if you can read and write). Ask around and locals will probably tell you that's where the snobs live. And they might have a point. You can't deny the beauty though...of the place that is, not the people!
25 minutes
4
Ashton Lane
This is what you think of, when someone says they are stepping back in time to Victorian times and cobbled streets.
25 minutes
5
People's Palace and Winter Gardens
Can you imagine trying to stop Glasgowegians drinking???well the brave or foolish council thought they might be able to do that, by giving the Glasgow locals an alternative to the pub...good luck with that one! (This is an optional stop for fast walkers)
15 minutes
6
University of Glasgow
The most beuatiful campus you are likely to see. Built for 1870 and no, Harry Potter doesn't still live here. You might see him though.
20 minutes
7
Kelvingrove Park
With over 95 parks it is no wonder that Glasgow translates as Dear Green Place. This is probably the best of the lot hosting the river Kelvin and beautiful walkways.
15 minutes
8
George Square
Right in the heart of Glasgow, George Square is home to the City Chambers, Glasgow Council's HQ. A fantastically ornate building in side and out, sometimes acting as film double for the Vatican.
15 minutes
9
The Botanic gardens in Glasgow's west-end is another beautiful green space and well worth a look on the way to other parts of the West-end. The Kibble palace is additional surprise.
