The Cave Monastery of Saint Andrew the Apostle of Jesus Christ, is located near the Black Sea in Romania, specifically in the area of the Danube Delta. This historic monastery is notable for being one of the oldest Christian sites in the country, believed to have been established by the Apostle Andrew himself, who is considered the patron saint of Romania.
The monastery is situated in a picturesque setting, often attracting visitors due to its natural beauty, historical significance, and spiritual atmosphere. The site includes a series of caves that were used by monks for hermitic life and spiritual practice. These caves are carved into the rocky landscape, housing chapels and other monastic facilities that have been used for centuries.
In addition to its religious importance, the Cave Monastery of Saint Andrew is an important cultural and tourist destination. It is part of a broader heritage of Orthodox Christianity in Romania and reflects the deep historical roots of Christianity.

Monumentul Tropaeum Traiani
Tropaeum of Trajan, is an ancient Roman monument located in present-day Romania, near the village of Adamclisi in the Dobruja region. It commemorates Emperor Trajan's victory over the Dacians in the early 2nd century AD, specifically in the Dacian Wars (101-102 AD and 105-106 AD).
The monument was constructed around 109 AD and served both as a symbol of Roman power and as a memorial to the soldiers who fought in the conflicts. The design of the Tropaeum Traiani is in the form of a triumphal monument, resembling a large round tower with a base covered in relief sculptures that depict scenes from the wars.
The structure is notable for its rich sculptural decoration, which includes detailed reliefs that illustrate the battles between the Romans and the Dacians, as well as various deities and military themes. The monument originally served not only as a commemorative site but also as a place for public gatherings and celebrations of Roman military success.
