Pisac
Upon arrival at Cusco airport (we recommend booking a flight that arrives before midday), your team will meet you and begin your journey straight into the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Incas.
Spending your first night in the Sacred Valley (at around 9,500 ft / 2,900 m) allows for a smoother acclimatization to the altitude, ensuring you start your adventure comfortably.
As we drive through the valley, you’ll enjoy breathtaking landscapes of rolling mountains, rivers, and traditional Andean villages.
Your first main stop will be the Pisac Archaeological Complex, one of the most extensive Inca sites in the region—larger in area than Machu Picchu itself. Explore its impressive agricultural terraces, ceremonial structures, and fortifications that crown the mountain.
Afterward, you may choose to visit the colorful Pisac, famous for its handicrafts and local products, or stop at a charming llama and alpaca farm to learn about these Andean animals and their importance in Incan culture.
