Teotihuacan it’s the most important pyramid close to Mexico city. It’s full of mystery and unveiled secrets. We want to offer a unique insight to this place that is frozen in Time. We will visit the most iconic places of the Pyramids, starting with jaguar paintings and the Pyramid of the moon, all the way to the secret pyramid of feathered snakes.

The pyramids are surrounded by villages where what was once the main source of income for the ancient city nowadays it’s used to make beautiful souvenirs. We are talking about obsidian, a volcanic stone that, especially in Mexico it’s found in many shades of color. Black, Golden, Silver and rainbow. A local family will explain to us the importance of this stone and some items that can only be found locally, sauces, jams and delicious liquor.

We know, by now you must be starving so we are stopping at a family’s place for a mexican lunch, this is not a restaurant and it’s the actual home place of a very nice family that has been welcoming us for many years now.
